1. The Hare Krishna Mahamantra
हरे कृष्ण हरे कृष्णकृष्ण कृष्ण हरे हरेहरे राम हरे रामराम राम हरे हरे॥
This is the maha mantra as it involves chanting the divine names of Shri Krishna and Shri Ram, the true incarnations of Lord Vishnu. The maha mantra has been made known and famous all through the world through the efforts of Lord Chaitnya, and Swami Prabhupada.

2. Om Namo Bhagvate Vasudevaye
ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय
Meaning and significance – This mantra is also called as the ‘Dwadasakshari’ or ‘twelve-syllable’ mantra, as it comprises of 12 letters. The mantra is one of the most powerful mantra of Shri Krishna. The mantra means – ‘I bow to Shri Vasudev, my God‘. The mantra is a complete submission to Lord Krishna.
3. Krishna – Jagadguru Mantra
वसुदेव सुतं देवं कंस चाणूरमर्दनं | देवकी परमानंदं कृष्णं वंदे जगद्गुरुं
Meaning and significance – Salutations to Lord Krishna, who is the teacher of the universe, son of Vasudeva, destroyer of Kansa and ChaaNura, and the supreme bliss of (mother) Devaki.
You may have heard this mantra being chanted during religious gatherings, Yagnas and rituals. The mantra is a very powerful mantra, and talks about annihilation of Krishna’s enemies and bestowing him ‘eternal bliss’. Chanters of this mantra would be blessed with victories over their enemies and taking them on the path of attaining ‘eternal peace’.
4. Shri Krishna Gayatri Mantra
ॐ देवकीनन्दनाय विद्महे वासुदेवाय धीमहि, तन्नः कृष्णः प्रचोदयात् ।।
Meaning and significance – This is the Gayatri mantra of Lord Krishna. It is a complete mantra that talks about surrendering to Shri Krishna, the son of Devki. This mantra is considered very powerful and a sure shot way to seek Shri Krishna’s blessings.
